Merge
A young sapling, planted in the soil. Still to firmly root into the earth, but there is a sense that you are held. Held in space by so much more than just the earth around you.
There is a forest, those who have come before, with great wisdom and deep roots. They provide shade but also prepare the soil for you over the seasons as they drop their leaves and bark. They also held space for the birds and other animals who dropped their seeds, broke the branches, and turned the soil. All in preparation for you.
This isn’t about this moment, even though this is your moment. They have been preparing for you and others for centuries. The act of love and care by All results in the fertile soil in which you grow.
So it is time to settle in, to take your place. The waters will feed you, the mulch will provide warmth and nutrients until you are ready to shoot your roots deep into the soil, where you will join this ancient grid, the mycelium, where you will merge and be in union with the forest.
For now, we will care for you, watch over you, feed you, because you are one of us. A sapling in the cycle of the forest, as important as the ancient grandmothers.
Yours is to draw it in, to settle, to be in this space of love and support. Let the sun warm your leaves, open your cells to receive more of what you need to fuel your growth. Reach for the stars and ground yourself at an equal rate. So that you may evolve to be the master you are destined to be.
So be it, it is done. Amen
